Rise Against complete work on new album

Chicago hardcore mob Rise Against have now completed work on their sixth studio album.

The record, which will be titled Endgame, will be released in the UK on March 14.

While the band have been keeping much of the album's details to themselves, Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba confirmed on Twitter yesterday that he was guesting on the record.

"Sang on Rise Against's new album this morning at 10AM in Tarzana with Bill Stevenson producing," he wrote before later adding: "Back at the studio with Rise Against/Bill Stevenson. They asked me to sing more stuff. They like me... They REALLY LIKE ME! Psyched. Great songs!"

Interested to see what happens with this. I'm a big fan of RA, always have been, but the last album was a little bit of a grey area for me. Oh well! Skiba as a guest performer can only be a good thing, too. Exciting!

Cannot wait for this album, huge Rise Against fan!
On their website, before you enter the main site, they have put up the intro to a new song called 'architects' sounds very promising! Seems heavier than appeal to reason which can only be a good thing! Hopefully it will be more like older albums.

14th March needs to hurry!

@Leanne, I disagree with you, I think Appeal to Reason was one of the best albums I have ever heard, and it surpasses thei rearlier stuff. I will be expecting more heroics from the most underrated band in the world.

"Endgame" hopefully this won't be their last album :(

I like unoriginal album titles. I wonder if Rise Against are Megadeth fans.

Let's hope it's as good as their previous work.

And trust me Matty, Rise Against are NOT underrated. Plenty of bands around more underrated than them.
