Taking Back Sunday complete work on new album

Taking Back Sunday are currently putting the finishing touches to their follow-up to 2009's New Again.

The as-yet-untitled album was produced by Eric Valentine, who oversaw the band's 2006 release Louder Now.

"Just waiting for our trusty producer to get everything in order to start mixing," says a post on the band's Facebook page. "Working on the artwork. Getting closer, we promise!"

No release date has been set for the as-yet-untitled album, although it is expected to be released later this year.

Can't say how stoked I am for this! Taking back sunday are my favourite band and to have the original line up back after so many years is just amazing for me :)

Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed all of their albums, I just feel that 'Louder Now' and 'New Again' didn't have the same feel as 'Tell All Your Friends' and 'Where You Want To Be' and, for lack of a better word, they were a bit boring apart from the odd song.

Hoping this album brings back the feel of their first two albums and it'll be good to see a full UK tour announced, they haven't played here since 2009's Give It A Name!

But yeah, stoked to hear it, it can't come soon enough :)

I to am stoked for this album! I'm hoping for something like Tell All Your Friends as it's back to the original line-up! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! Taking back sunday are just amazing! End of.

Awesome news! Original line-up too! Got to see them just after Fred joined so didnt get the full tbs expereince! Be awesome if Jessy Lacey joinned again!

Still, tell all your friends was an amazing album! Hope they can top it!
