Oh HELL yeah! The only song other than AIC that I've heard is Hope. And I can tell you that it has a briiiiilliant air guitar moment in there. More catchy than herpes. ♥

OH MY GOD MEGAN.

Can't wait to hear this. It looks so different from what they've done before, but hey, who wants to write the same song over and over again? Well, apart from Axl Rose.

Ok, i am the blackout's biggest fan, absolutely love them, but...this really isnt filling me with confidence... wheres the witty song titles (spread legs) and amazing artwork like for the other albums? from the sounds of the interviews and the song titles-eg the last goodbye, you're not alone- and even 'hope', it all sounds a bit...angsty? the blackout were always about having a laugh and making some great music, and it just seems that theyre taking a new direction, when there was nothing wrong with the one they were heading in in the first place... i really hope they can pull this outta the bag, or it will probably be the disappointment of my life...

I think this looks great! Chris, I don't want to break the news to you but the band are all pretty much pushing 30 and have probably matured a little. I bet you'd probably have preferred they call the album "Dog Porn'? If you're an actual fan of the band then you'd respect them for what they've spent time on doing and wait till the album is out to pass judgement or do a better job yourself.

Bit worried that Ambition is Critical is the opening track. If you look at their previous work the opening track is always hard and fast followed by slower tracks later on whereas they have opened the album with a radio-friendly single which concerns me. Is the rest of the album gunna be even softer? Good album filler/ song for the masses but very weak compared to their other stuff- certainly can't imagine them opening a gig with this track.

If anyone believes that The Blackout have gone down a softer route with this new album then you couldn't be more wrong.
Yes AIC is softer than other tracks that they have done in the past but all their singles have been more radio friendly than others on the album.
I think that people who are looking for the heavier songs will especially love The Devil Inside its one of the heaviest songs they have ever done and its bloody amazing too! It will shut up anyone that thinks The Blackout have gone softer for this new album.
