Trent Reznor wins a Golden Globe award

Congratulations to Nine Inch Nails mainman Trent Reznor who won a Golden Globe award at last night's ceremony (Sunday, January 16) in Los Angeles.

Reznor, alongside his How To Destroy Angels collaborator Atticus Ross, picked up the award for Best Original Score for The Social Network soundtrack.

"A year ago I had no idea I'd have the opportunity to score a film," said Reznor as he accepeted his award. "The idea of standing up here to accept this award is surreal."

The film itself won the Best Motion Picture award, while David Fincher picked up the Best Director gong and writer Aaron Sorkin won the Best Screenplay award.

Top film with a top soundtrack. The music made the film in places. A well deserved award for Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
