Vince Neil will spend two weeks in prison followed by a further two weeks of house arrest after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol.
As previously reported, the Motley Crue frontman was arrested in Las Vegas on June 28 for drink driving. According to the Associated Press, Neil has agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanour charge of driving under the influence when he returns to court for formal sentencing on January 26.
In an official statement Neil said: "I have recognised that you can't drink and drive at all."
Well duh!
According to the singer's lawyer, Neil could have been looking at six month sentence had he not agreed to a plea bargain.
This is not the first time Neil has been arrested fro drink driving. In 1984 he was charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol after killing Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas 'Razzle' Dingley in a car accident.
