London is the CAPITAL city, so we do have a right to expect bands to play here, 99.9999% of bands do play here so of course we get surprised when they don't.

It your choice to live in the middle of fucking no where, you could move to London if you really wanted too.

hmmm no london date but a trip back to the hometown of portsmouth could be a nice option! :D

Posted by jabba | February 24, 2011 2:27 PM | Reply to this

ohh dear somebody hasnt gone to london for once! what a travasty! its not like every band in the world plays there about 10 times more often than anywhere else is it? and @jake why would anyone want to move to london? its crowded, congested and full of pollution id much rather live up north where people might occasionally look after each other

Haha, Kingston is in London. It's 20 minutes on the train from Waterloo. I've been there a couple of times and seeing Iron Chic there again in May.

KINGSTON IS IN LONDON. If I can make the effort to come from Bexley (which is all the way over the other side) to Kingston, then make an effort to go Kingston yourself. I'd love to go but New Slang is 18+ and I'd be 2 weeks too young (that and I wouldn't be able to get home as it ends late as shit.)

Anyways, Kingston is London. So shut up. Just be lucky Frank plays at all. I've seen him twice in the last couple of months, Brixton and The Borderline. If you haven't seen him and can't go - tough shit.

Oh, and to prove it's in London - you could get there on an Oyster card and on a basic zones 1-6 travelcard.

and to prove it isn't...
Postcode - KT
Area - SURREY.

Shut up. IDIOTS!!!

@acki Well done for living in the backwards north. I just hope you are not one of the idiot that continually goes "why do bands never come here, in this tiny village that no one has ever heard if before". Bands always play in London because the shows always sell out, as there are loads of people. End of. I know I'm kind of picking at a fight that isn't here, but it's all over this site.

Rob, fuck off.

Kingston is in Surrey, Croydon is in Surrey and Harrow is in Middlesex, so what? They're all still part of London's transport network. You can use your Oyster card to get there, so you shut up!

Posted by Billy Bob | February 24, 2011 3:28 PM | Reply to this

lol yes

that doesnt mean its in london!

Watford is part of tube
Amersham is part of tube.

FUCK OFF are they in London!

Posted by rob | February 24, 2011 3:35 PM | Reply to this

Why does he never come to Wales!
Please play Cardiff!!!

Posted by Georgia | February 24, 2011 3:49 PM | Reply to this

@rob.

Yeah a couple of miles. 20 mins on the train maybe.

I've got to travel to fucking Bristol from Cornwall, 4 fucking hours, so shut your pipe hole.

Posted by Matt | February 24, 2011 5:15 PM | Reply to this

@Matt that's your fault though, as you live in a fucking rural area filled with old people. Why the hell would bands choose to go there.

Posted by Jake | February 24, 2011 5:20 PM | Reply to this

You spend your time arguing on music websites over geography, instead of worrying about that you should worry about how you spend you're lives.
*aimed at the people complaining Kingston isn't near London etc not the people that didn't start anything*
