Head says he will never rejoin Korn

Ex-Korn guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch has issued an open letter to his former bandmates saying that he will never rejoin the Bakersfield nu-metal pioneers, and they should give his old job to (hed) P.E. guitarist Wes Geer who is currently touring with the band.

In a Twitter post this past Saturday (February 5) Head wrote:

"Dear Korn, Please let Wes Geer join Korn and take my old place on stage so people will quit telling me to go back to Korn."

Head spontaneously left Korn in February 2005 after announcing that he had "chosen the Lord Jesus Christ as [his] saviour". A few days later, he featured on US news channel CNN being baptised in the river Jordan in Israel.

Its so funny how americans are so easily brainwashed by religion. Korn should have give up after untouchables.

I think he has gall, Belieing in Jesus has got him sober, and off Meth, he is happier than ever, and puts on a great show as Brian "Head" Welch, he still writes music, and he is a really nice guy, so what if he doesn't want to be in Korn? Who knows how long the other Christian Member of Korn (Fieldy) will stay in the band

You guys say religion is a joke, but I agree with DJ. I became a Christian recently and I still listen to Korn ect, and I'm only 14!

religion is the biggest cause of upset, conflict and terrorism. its all bullshit coz none of it is factual only stories past down from thousands of years. if we were all the same religion then 9/11 would not have happened nor the july tube bombings. head is a sic musician and shouldnt have left just to be christian, he could have done both tbh like fieldy. or he could join creed and make gay jesus rock.

So he's religious...that means he can't be in Korn why?

Ah well, each to their own. Personally, i'd choose a successful band over a man in the sky any day.

haha one problem with that dude,,,,,,, there is no man in the sky

Well look, Head has been gone from KORN a few years now but is doing really well himself-a great first solo album, another soon, touring America, now other stuff with members of P.O.D. and Flyleaf. He's sober, healthy, and has a happy life away from them. Good for him.
So some people might think religion-or Christianity-is stupid, a wast of time. Have you given it a go? Jesus actually said so many things that will help us through bad times. God listens too.
Fieldy is still with KORN, that's cool, but sometimes John and Munky seem a little intolerant and narrow minded, which is a shame.
Peace to all, respect each other, our choices and beliefs.

why would i give it a go?? im happy and not deluded enough to actually believe some dude fed tons of people with 1 fish or that he came back to life. news for ya buddy..... when your dead thats it. finished. gone. no coming back. also i think that korn's music would help me through bad times better than some made up book. my view so dont get all bible bashing on me.

Nah, don't worry dude. That's cool. I don't pretend to know everything. I'm not an atheist-I have friends who are-but I wouldn't say I'm a classic blind, weak Christian type either. Hey, I still read H P Lovecraft, watch horror flicks etc. Each to thier own man. I also totally find scientific advances hugely interesting as in progress in space exploration, fighting cancer, other serious diseases. We gotta get along bro

its really easy not to believe in religion and bash others for doing so. when you got enough guts to express faith and love no matter what backlash you get then you can talk to us. until then GOD BLESS

If he choose to be religious that's his decision to make. Maybe religion isn't the only reason he doesn't want to rejoin Korn. People move on with their lives, he probably made enough money while he was in Korn to live comfortably for the rest of his life. Let him be, and stop being so judgmental of his beliefs. I'm just glad I was able to see Korn numerous times with all of the original members.
