@lauren coz those are the free giant ones that come with this weeks issue , not that there any good , i hate all those bands and izzy , if anything we need more slipknot , i mean no offence to your music taste but its not like we dont get enough of fucking my passion and the blackout anyway

Slipknot have gone through such a rough time with the death of Paul Gray. Even though you may not like them and i'm not a die-hard fan of them either but they are not just a deathcore band about killing and blah. They do write some great soft acoustic songs like 'Snuff'. Take a listen to more then just their heavy stuff and you might actually like it.

I spent years sticking my nose up at Slipknot thinking they were crap, completely forgetting them, and then my sister let me hear their newer stuff. Have to say, completely turned me on them. Now? Listening to their stuff from the beginning and am now a total fan.

I have total respect for Joey and the bands he's played with/been in. This past week I saw Murderdolls and Rob Zombie, so this issue caps it off very nicely :)

Kerrang you are cunts, I just bought this issue and the only good thing in it was turisas album review , evile show review and the interview with Joey jordison . The rest is utter dogshit . not only that but I turn to the back of the mag and guess who's on next weeks cover ? ALL TIME LOW!!!!! Fuck you kerrang - funny to think you once called yourself a heavy metal magazine .

i am utterly devastated that you didnt like the mcr gig, i saw them at the lg arena and thought they were fucking awesome, i enjoyed every minute of it. why couldnt u cover the lg arena instead...im a huge mcr fan and i love danger days album....

I ain't no fan girl but Joey is beautiful and I wish people would respect slipknot more, I mean they are not my favourite band( nowadays Im loving black and death metal) but with out them I would still be chilling with the chavs and the heviest of music I would be listening to would be 30 STM and paramore . Also kerrang! I wish you wouldn't cover bands that can't even be consisted rock like huffy clyro- they are indie rock and paramore and all-time low are just pop shit

I'm sorry to say this, since I normally find the review quality in KERRANG! so good, but your review of the My Chemical Romance at Wembley Arena was way off the mark.
I agree that LostAlone were weak, but the Blackout were quite entertaining, even for someone who had not so much as listened to one of their songs before.
As for My Chemical Romance's performance being 'slightly less than the sum of it's parts' - I, along with many other fans feel that this is very unfair. Everyone I have spoken to who attended the show felt that discounting LostAlone it was an amazing night,and definitely deserving of more than 3 K's. Make it right please KERRANG!

MCRS review was fair, i love the band and i was at the Manchester show. I agree with what the kerrang reporter said, they dont seem to fill the stadiums they are playing in. Probably since their new songs arent as theatrical, not thats its a problem but maybe they should be doing smaller venues again like they did in the tour before this times. We had a great time with them at the Apollo and atleast they sold it out unlike the MEN arena.

For the record. Slipknot are an amazing band. People are way too quick to judge bands before they hear them. However, i understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion and if someone doesn't like them, then i'm not gonna lose sleep over it. But just be fair and listen to their music before you judge.

As for this issue, aside from the joey interview , it was quite weak.

I was at the My Chemical Romance concert at wembley and this review is waaaay off the mark, aside from lostalone, it was a phenomenal gig. The Blackout did a great job of opening and as for MCR, they were incredible. Everyone i have spoken to who went to this show agrees with me that their set was flawless. And as far as not connecting with the audience much, that is crazy talk. They connect with their audience in ways that many bands cannot these days and every person in that stadium felt as much a part of that gig as the band themselves. I'm sorry to say but Kerrang! got this one seriously wrong.

Ugh NO MORE MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. They're an OK band, but they're in every issue this past year.. they have featured on tons of cover issues, posters etc.
I actually want more on Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Metallica and Green Day.
