OMIGOSH, glee has totally wrecked this song!! This sucks so badly. I would way rather hear Gerard sing it then some stupid actress who is TRYING to sound good. My Chemical Romance is my favourite band and I love SING. When I heard Glee was covering SING, I was mortified. I had a prejudice that it was going to be terrible, but honestly it isn't half bad. I hate Glee, but it's a genuine cover. The good thing about it is that my Music class in school always sing Glee songs, so hopefully we'll sing this soon.
OMG JUST GET OVER IT. Big band, big song. If you're actually a fan of this band you really wouldn't give a shit. This is their LIVES, if they get offered a big cash cheque from Glee to do a cover of their song on prime time television they'd be stupid to say no!

OK. Never been a fan of MCR, they're bearable enough for me to see live, but not a band I'm really 'into'. Never watched Glee. So from a view on the fence .... it's a pretty sharp fence, it split my arse (or, using a more credible metaphor, an anagram of that). Basically echoing what most have said. To be honest I really don't see what all the Glee hate's about, especially with the majority of bands at the moment, I think it just shows that they're pretentious, egotistical assholes with zero sense of humour. I'm not at all a fan of the show myself, but I understand that that is only due to personal preference, not that it's 'A ShiT SHow OMG!11!!' The kids on that show are all very talented singers, actors and dancers, unlike the vast majority of top 40 stuff; All they do is put their own spin onto songs and you may not ba fan of the final outcome (I'm not at all) but you have to admire the work that goes into it. And as much as I love MCR, I hate Sing.

Sekhmet, its called musical credability. A lot of comercial bands are only interested in fame and money and therefore will write songs that are not very musically adventerous. This is so the average person who isn't interested in hearing things they are unfamiliar with will understand it. Bands that are more interested in music and how it works will write stuff that has more depth and doesn't contain the obvious ingrediants found in most pop songs. This will have more credability than the cheese burger factory pumping out bland tasting pop. Glee is the equivalent to McDonalds which is fine for those who want it but people who are really into music would prefer something with a bit more depth.
