Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish have been confirmed to headline this year's Slam Dunk festival, Kerrang! can exclusively reveal.
Joining the ska-punk legends at Leeds University and The University Of Hertfordshire on May 28 and 29 respectively are Loughton post-hardcore quintet We Are The Ocean, K! Tour alumni Framing Hanley, and Tallahassee pop-punks Mayday Parade.
"I originally heard about Slam Dunk from [last year's headliners] New Found Glory," says Less Than Jake drummer Vinnie Fiorello. "We're stoked to be able to play with our great friends in Reel Big Fish."
"This will be our fourth year in a row at Slam Dunk," adds We Are The Ocean vocalist Dan Brown. "Every year has been absolutely amazing. I promised Slam Dunk's organiser Ben that if he booked us again this year, I'd get a Slam Dunk logo tattoo. I intend to keep to my word!"
"Each time we come over to the UK, we have such a great time," says Framing Hanley vocalist Kenneth Nixon. "We've seen the full line-up and we're really excited - you should be too!"
Also on the bill are King's Lynn post-hardcore mob Deaf Havana, recently reformed U.S. pop-punks The Starting Line, Colorado electro rock duo 3OH!3, and post-punk laptop rapper MC Lars.
Tickets will go onsale from February 18 at 9AT and will cost £32.50. To purchase tickets online, visit www.aloud.com. Stay tuned to www.kerrang.com for further announcements in the coming weeks.
