Buy all of Paramore's old tat for charity!

Paramore are throwing a virtual yard sale (or jumble sale as we like to call it) to help raise funds for the Japanese Red Cross who are currently assisting those affected buy the horrendous earthquake and tsunami which hit the country earlier this month.

"We're raisin money for Japan Red Cross by auctioning off our old clothes [and] such," tweeted frontwoman Hayley Williams. "We want the whole world involved in helping us!"

From now until April 2 there are 30 items to bid for with another 30 set to follow from Monday onwards. Items put up for auction by the band range from shirts and trousers to accessories and even guitars. All proceeds will go directly to the Red Cross.

Though bidding is currently exclusive for US fans to snap up, work is underway so that international fans can start bidding, too.

"As of now, we can't change the current auctions for outside US," Hayley later tweeted. "But as we add more, we will change bidding options! Promise! Sorry guys!"

It's a shame that Paramore weren't in the Sendai area of Japan when the tsunami struck. Even just now if we could put them in the middle of the Fukushima nuclear plant, that would be pretty funny.

@slimmy them and MCR are the only bands that are doing something major to help out people in Japan. just shut the fuck up and be greatful that they're helping.

I think there are in fact quite a few artists doing relief efforts for Japan so to say it is just Paramore and MCR is a lot of shit. Completely ignorant to other people to defend your shit bands.

guys, calm the hell down. as @blessthefallenfan said....be greatful that they're doing something like this...i mean look at all of Hayley's stuff that they're selling...and Jeremy's selling his fav jacket and his pants from Emergency. thats a pretty nice thing to do...selling personal items to help people in Japan.

lets face it people...i love Paramore but kerrang are just fucking stalking them now...its getting really annoying. i mean...whats happening to kerrang?? they focuss on two or three bands and obsess over everything they do and then they start playing rap music on their TV channel??? what happened to the old kerrang...the rock channel that blasted out heavy metal, pop punk and metalcore music?

It's not about what band it is and how much you love/hate them. It's about japan being in a horrendous situation. MCR, blink-182, paramore, and I'm sure there are probably other bands helping out. I don't exactly see you raising thousands for it.

Kerrang is going to print what it knows it can sell and there is still a lot of hype around PARAMORE. I like them but that's just one opinion. Personally I don't care WHO is helping as long as someone is! Question is for those people with such negative comments what are YOU doing to help other than donating a 20 to redcross and going about your day....or did you even do that??

Its nice of them to do sothing for Japan MCR and paramore are two of my fave bands and are both helping out so don't diss them and just b grateful of wat their doin even if u don't like them

Dude seriously we all have our own opinions.. Just leave other people if they like a band and feel the need to defend them then let them. No need for swearing okes honestly... I LOVE PARAMORE and a whole load of other bands and yea ok now we all know that there are in fact quite a few bands that do things for charity by selling items that belong to the band. So let's not say anything if we only have hurtful or rude comments to say.
