Dance Gavin Dance frontman issues formal apology to fans

As previously reported, Dance Gavin Dance / Emarosa vocalist checked Jonny Craig himself into rehab in North Hollywood, California last month for drug addiction.

Now the singer has issued a formal apology to the fans he defrauded out of thousands of dollars through a series of bogus internet auctions for laptops.

"I want to apologise for my recent behaviour," he said in an official statement. "My actions regarding taking advantage of fans was inexcusable. I'm in the process of paying everyone back so please forgive me.

"My state of mind was completely shot and obviously my decision making skills were heavily impaired due to my drug use," the statement continued. "I've since been in detox and successfully completed the treatment. I've learned a lot from this ordeal and I realised I've redeemed my second chance.

"I'm embarrassed with my past actions, I want to make amends to everyone I hurt," he added. "Again, sorry to all my fans, family, band mates and colleagues. I'm truly sorry. Now back to work... I'm looking forward to seeing all the DGD fans and their positive energy that they always bring to the shows. With that being said, the past will stay dead and let's toast to the future kids."

I was one of the people that got scammed but am now in the process of being reimbursed.

I was desperate for a laptop so turned to Jonny.

And before anybody can say "omfg how can you be so stupid" - stop fucking trollin'

Im a huge fan of Jonny, obsessed my friends say, this has not ruined my passion for his music. The guy had an obvious problem and his recent posts on Twitter show that he is a clean, problem free guy now which is brilliant!

So proud of him for getting clean considering how long he has been on drugs, but will it last?

Ok, he might have been a cunt. But he's a talented cunt. People go through dark stages in their lives and of course, what he did was inexcuseable. However, I'd still give the guy a second chance. I'm still going to see him and DGD because I still admire him as a muscian.

Jonny Craig has one of the most beautiful voices ever.

I dont care what anyone says. Jonny craig is an amazing musician. One of my favorite singers. The whole macbook situation is hilarious, i wonder how dgd still went ahead and had him rejoin. Oh well they were amazing last week on warped. Jonnys still the man.
