Green Day musical to close next month

American Idiot, the critically acclaimed musical based on the 2004 Green Day album of the same name, is set to end its run on Broadway next month.

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong will reprise his role of St. Jimmy from April 5-24 for the show's final dates.

The production will go on a tour of the US later in the year.

^ This is everything I've grown to hate about Green Day, as their music has got worse, the fan girls are everywhere. I do also find it Ironic you are calling other people Morons. South Park is funny. Green Day are greedy, and oh so punk with their musical and latest pop album, but to show they are punk they put the word Fuck in their album title. Another one, jeez people are so angry! If bands want to become successful the have to change their sound a little to appeal to mainstream, while still maintaining a punk feel. If bands want to continue struggling while amassing a cult following then they will stick to raw punk. Maybe its morons that dont understand what bands have to do to make it in the industry!

green day are a amazing band the best in the world infact, it's easy to spred the fact that u luv them without herting someone (unless the person is liam or herpderp and who care way too much)where as spreding nastey coments about the band on a page about the band can hert people so ther is no point and doing it enless you won't people to think that your nob and yet agin add more to the list of people that hate you, and anyway why are you even going on a page about a band that u don't like it's just sad. oh and sorry karrang the news is old but it's nice that you still tell us about these things even if it is old news
