MCR and Foos set for Radio 1 Big Weekend

My Chemical Romance and Foo Fighters have confirmed their appearance at the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend in May.

The two bands will join the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Tinie Tempah and Professor Green at the two-day bash which takes place at Carlisle Airport on May 14 and 15.

Those wishing to obtain tickets for the event must register their details on the Radio 1 website on the morning of March 31.

In a way the whole Reading and MCR exclusive was a non starter as they announced to play T In The Park before Reading announced them.

yeah but melvin was showing off the fact that MCR weren't headlining anywhere else as if that was some kind of achievement and now he can't even boast about that

Yeah I see what you're saying. Melvin, for me fucked it up last year for Reading. I have been going to Reading every year without fail since 1993 (last year was my 18th one on the trot) but after the whole Guns 'N' Roses fuck up I am not going... Plus this years headliners are mainly shite (except for Muse)
