Tom Araya health update

Tom Araya's wife, Sandra, has posted an update about the Slayer frontman's health.

As previously reported, the band were forced to pull out of their appearance at the Sydney date of Australia's Soundwave festival this past Sunday (February 27) after Araya was taken ill moments before Slayer were due to take to the stage.

"Tom was suffering from vertigo due to extreme dehydration and lack of rest," said his wife in an official statement. "Our doctor is in the process of getting the results on the test that were ran (major time zone difference and being the weekend has held up those results). Hopefully there will be nothing more to add after the results are returned."

Soundwave's promoter says he expects Araya to make a full recovery for the festival's next date in Melbourne on March 4.

I never answer on this site because it causes arguments that are waste of time but seriously wtf Watson, tom has only just been told he will not be able to headbang anymore due to health yet they still tour, that is commitment, jeff has a spider bite when healed will still tour, how the fuck is that treating fans badly, thats more dedication than most bands, you clearly want an argument, I hate paramore and mcr but will pronounce their names right to stop an ambush from their fans but why the hell do you think you can dictate the right sort of behaviour for a band to do, seriously dude grow up, enjoy the music or get lost!

I never answer on this site as it is a waste of time and only causes arguments but seriously what the fuck watson, tom has only just been told he cant headbang at shows anymore (exaggerated or not im not sure) yet they still tour, jeff has spider bite when recovered will still tour, how the fuck is that being a pansy or treating fans badly, they tour their assess off and play festivals nearly every year since I have been going. I am sure Tom Araya is going to be just fine. He seems like a strong, tough, kinda guy so, get well soon!! He sure has one hell of a lucky wife, I might add. .
