Alice Cooper to 'perform' at UK's first ever 4D gig

Alice Cooper will reunite with his original bandmates Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, Michael Bruce, and Steve Hunter standing-in for the late Glen Buxton, for their first UK gig since 1972 at London's Battersea Power Station on May 11 as part of Jagermeister's Ice Cold Events.

However, none of the band will be there in person - they'll be appearing in holographic form beamed live from the US.

"We couldn't resist this," said Cooper. "Working with Jagermeister to appear as holograms on the other side of the Atlantic is the ultimate experience, a cutting-edge conjuring trick that celebrates the future and our history. We can't wait to see the results."

There are just 800 tickets available for the show which can be won by applying via the new Jagermeister's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/JagermeisterUK.

This seems a bit pointless really and you just know it's going to live. It comes across like he can't be arsed.

Hope this is good, but I can't see how doing a FREE gig is "cheating the fans". I'll take it for what it is :) and go see him "live" another time.
