kurt was a good musician, yes his suicide publicised nirvana more etc but he should still be regarded as a true trail blazer of his time. as for this video, my first thoughts were 'o dear lord no' but after watching i gained a lot of respect for jared, yes he does tend to be a big headed prick most of the time, but this was good

I'm a huge fan of Mars and Nirvana, so to see this is a true honour, I think Jareds done Kurt justice, yes the two bands are completely different, but it still doesnt stop this being so passionate, give Jared a break. If you're not calling him an egotistic bastard and big headed, when he does something that's actually a really nice tribute, you slag him off for that too. Crawl in a hole.

Did anyone even read the video description? He did it as a character study before trying out to play Kurt in the rumored biopic, not just for the hell of it. He's said he's a big Nirvana fan and appreciates Kurt. And honestly, I don't see what Jared gains from this other than the pleasure of paying tribute to someone who inspired him. 30STM is one of the few remaining popular music acts who actually give a damn about their music, and I'm happy to see Jared acknowledging Kurt's influence on him. I think it's impressive he went to such lengths to portray Kurt and even if you don't like Leto or Mars, you can at least respect that much
