AC/DC to release new album by 2013

Good news for all AC/DC fans. Guitarist Angus Young has dismissed rumours that the Aussie rockers' 168-date Black Ice trek was to be their last ever tour.

On May 6, the band made a personal appearance at London's Hammersmith Apollo for the world premiere of their concert film, Live At River Plate. Speaking from the red carpet, the guitarist adds that the band will also release a new album by 2013.

"We'll be touring again once we get a new album out," Young tells Bang Showbiz. "It will hopefully be within the next couple of years."

The film, which was shot in Buenos Aires during their 2009 Black Ice World Tour, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on Monday (May 9).

Duane is now showing his ignorance when it comes to music... Obviously you're a non musician with poor taste in music... AC/DC have their own distinctive sound and do not recycle riffs as you so claim.. Over 200 million album sales back them up.. Most modern bands will lend ideas or riffs from older music... Angus young keeps it fresh unlike the new breed of bands and AC/DC are a fantastic live band still keeping things going strong after all these years... The same probably won't be said for the majority of bands in your cd collection.. I will bet that you are the sort of kid that won't like a band once they hit the big time as you think you'll be uncool...

Personally I think ACDC suck the hard chode, but you don't need to make a big deal about it. No one cares. Duane: i agree with you but keep your mouth shut. Johnny: You are an arrogant opinionated assuming prick. Don't instigate trouble when it's not needed.

Thank god they are going to tour again!

Just watched Iron Maiden in Sheffield and thought oh my god how crap were they compared to DC at Download!!!!

If you've never seem then live you've never lived my son!

There's no other band in the world that comes anywhere near!

The Stones, Metallica, Robbie Who?, Maiden, and all the others don't come anywhere close to a AC/DC gig!

I CAN'T. I JUST CAN'T See AC/DC . I live in a f***ing country called iran! I can't go anywhere.I can't buy their album.I can't watch their DVDs . Goverment will shoot me in the head. I only could download their mp3s from internet ,but now I can't even do that ... The site is blocked by goverment...

Love AC/DC best night of my life february 15th 2010, when as 15 going on 16 year old kid, i stood 10 metres from the band that i had grown up listening to, AC/DC may sound good on studio recordings but they are infinetly better live, definetley buying this album and a ticket for the subsequent tour.

Very excited by this news...purchased the Black Ice CD/DVD at River Plate and own the complete back-catalogue of their music.

Missed out on seeing them at Wembley Stadium a couple of years ago but really do hope that when they tour again that I'll be able to purchase a ticket for these legends.

As for now, am gonna blow up my video...wanna know why? 'Cause that's the way I wanna rock n roll ;)
