U.S. rockers Anberlin have announced that they are to play a free show at London's Relentless Garage on July 13.
The band were forced to postpone last month's show at London's ULU for personal reasons and have taken steps to make it up to their fans.
"As you are aware, we had to make an extremely difficult decision a few months ago and were absolutely gutted to postpone our April show at ULU," reads a statement from the band. "We heard from a lot of you that were quite displeased with us, and that did not sit well whatsoever with us. So as a gesture to show how much we appreciate you and where our true priorities are, we have been working hard behind the scenes to be able to offer a completely free show!
"We are letting those people who had previously purchased tickets for our ULU show to have a first dibs on getting into this new show before we release details for the remainder of the tickets," they continue. "Simply email us at london@anberlin.com and send us your proof of purchase / ticket confirmation (send us a scan of your receipt, email us your confirmation, etc) and we will be sure to put your name on a special list to get into the show first (you'll need to remember to bring a photo ID with you to the show of course)."
The deadline for ticket applications is May 24. The band will make a further announcement on how to apply for the remaining tickets. Stay tuned to the band's official site for further announcements.
