Biffy Clyro are to be honoured as Best British Band at the Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards on July 1.
"We follow in the footsteps of some great bands who've received this award and we couldn't be happier with this honour," said the band in an official statement. "Music has been a massive part of our lives, just like it is for all the people Nordoff Robbins help."

In other news, the band will release their first ever live album on June 27. The CD and DVD collection, titled Revolutions: Live From Wembley, was recorded at the band's sold out arena show in London last December.
