Dir en grey announce new single

J Rock heroes Dir en grey will release the first single from their highly anticipated eighth studio album next month.

Different Sense will be available worldwide from June 22.

The band's as-yet-untitled new album will be released later this summer.

I remember Dir en grey were fucking terrible at Sonisphere last year. Proper shit. Contender for worst band of the weekend so they were.

Late news is late. Their new album is called "Dum Spiro Spero", and it'll be released on August 3rd, 2011. It's been informed through fanclub-only mail.

Diru was AMAZING @ Ogden when they toured with Apocalyptica. I've never seen a bad performance >o<

I will forever be excited for ANY new stuff coming out by Dir En Grey. Was the happiest point of my life when I finally got to see them in concert. Keep kicking ass. We all love you!

I have always wanted to hear new songs of DIR EN GREY, are so amazing.
I never get tired of hearing this band, really love... for me are the best.
So I will continue enjoying their music and i wish them well, really means a lot to me.

Already pre-ordered the limited edition. Im excited too because this time instead of a remake of an old song, they've included a never before heard b-side! They haven't done that since like "kasumi."

Dir en grey never fails to surprise, so im anxious to hear this "different" single. The description sounded pretty bomb.

Hey, I'm not necesarily a fan of the band, but I promise you Dir En Grey absolutely rock live. I saw a few of their live vids on youtube and was blown away the other day. I might get the cd actually....

The thing about Dir En Grey is that each and every of their new releases promises an entirely (well, not really entitrely) new sound. So I'm looking forward to what this band wants to give us this time. I bet it'll be awesome.

The B-side is a re-make, or re-imagination of Tsumi to batsu/mitsu no tsuba from Gauze, not a completely new song. But I'm guessing the new arrangement is going to be completely different, like Hydra-666- was.

And, um, yeah. next album is Dum Spiro Spero. It was announced a few days ago through A-knot.

I have been a Dir en Grey fan for years now and I have to say they are one of the only bands I have come across where the songs don't get repetitive. So exited for the new releases.

Dir en grey best band in the world!!! Already preordered L.E of the new single and can't wait for the new album to become available. They never fail to amaze with awesome music, lyrics and live performances. I own their whole music catalogue and there is not one song of theirs that I don't love. I'll be seeing them again in August and cannot wait they were amazing at Kokos last year!!!
