Why are there never any southern dates D: Brighton, Southampton or Portsmouth are all good cities but bands hardly ever go there D:

Not exactly a UK tour is it.

No Glasgow? Dammit!

Actually, Paul, it is a tour. He's playing more than one show in the UK, and therefore that constitutes a tour.

Actually, Mike, you're being a precocious bellend.

And I agree with Jamie, the South needs some Slash :(

Cheers Paul's friend, is true though the south always seems to be ignored by artists even thought we have amazing music venues :(

He's playing London FFS, T in The Park too.

lol Paul's friend & Jamie sod off you southerners always get one off gigs from the best bands and the big bands have most of the signings down there i mean Ozzy did a signing only in London

We get loads of gigs down south not really sure what you're talking about. Its a shame that Slash is only playing the festival down south but come on we are normally spoilt for choice on gigs

english tour more like, bands that have the audacity to announce a "british" tour without visiting scotland wales or northern ireland are really starting to grind my gears

SLASH PLEASE COME TO AUSTRALIA!!!!

Once again for the hard of understanding, Slash is playing both London and Scotland on the current run of dates.

For the hard of understanding (Big G), the article states:

"The tour, which takes place around his festival performances at T In The Park, Oxegen, and London's High Voltage, will include..."

So the "UK Tour" which has just been announced, only takes place in England.

yeah it pisses me off that a lot of bands never come further south than london. It means it ends up costing a shit load of money just to go to a 30 quid gig.

how does a festival count as a tour date, unless its a headline show obviously, most festival slots are around 40 mins if that, that can hardly count as a tour show now can it otherwise support acts could announce a tour if they are supporting on more than 1 date which is ridiculous

Uk tour or not.. hes doing a Manchester date thats all that matters :)

i think it's great he's coming home to stoke! loads of artists need to remember where they come from, i love that he's doing that. i might go, i reckon it would be a great show!!

I live in Glasgow and I didn't think twice about buying tickets for Leeds. Well he pretty much came to play in my back yard last year (Edinburgh) and he can't play everywhere all the time, so this time I'll travel. (and I know it'll be worth travelling for.)
