Slash: "I always root for Stoke!"

Slash has told Kerrang! that he will be taking time out of his European travels to watch today's FA Cup final between his hometown club Stoke City and Manchester City.

"I'm gonna watch the match from [France]," the guitarist tells Kerrang!. "I'm a football fan and I always root for Stoke because they're the underdog. They're a great team but they never quite make it."

Will there be chants of 'We only score from a throw in!' coming from his hotel room? Only time will tell.

[Update: No. Stoke lost 1-0.]
