Congratulations to Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and wife Pearl Aday on the birth of their child.
According to Blabbermouth.net, Revel Young Ian was born yesterday (June 19) at 10.19am (PST), weighing in at 6lbs 9oz. Mother and baby are reportedly doing well, while Scott described the birth as the "happiest day of [his] life".
As previously reported, Scott was to sit out of Anthrax's performance at Sonisphere on July 8 while waiting for the birth of his child. Now baby Revel Young has arrived, it is unclear at this time whether Scott will now rejoin his bandmates in time for the prestigious UK date. At present, Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser is filling in.
