Evanescence to release new album in October

Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee has revealed that the band will release their
follow-up to 2006's The Open Door in October.

The band entered the studio in April with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Stone Sour) and, as previously reported, Amy has also confirmed that former guitarist Troy McLawhorn has returned to the band. McLawhorn toured with the band in 2007.

"Yes! I'm proud to announce that Troy is back in Ev!" writes the vocalist in a post on Twitter. "We love you Troy! Welcome back."

I am so excited for their new album,
they've been my favourite band ever since i heard 'Bring me to life' & i've always been a genuine fan even through the bad times they've had with all the different line-up changes.

I'm 15 years old and You won't believe it amy but the truth when I was a 7 years my mom was waking me up in early mornings and when I ask her why she says " bring me to life Is on the tv " and I just get the hell of my bed ... Lool
And there's sweet sacrifice OMG the same thing
But in 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 I was so bored with this lady gaga , rihanna . Katy perry gosh I hate them

Aww man where to begin. I love this band when I first heard bring me to life. I always caught the middle of it on the radio and I needed to find out who it was. When I found out it was the start of an obsession. I know every lyric. And off the fallen album I know how long each song is.. and when the open door came out I was ecstatic I love every single song she writes. And hearing that she can do the harp and is putting it onto the next album man I'm so excited for what awesomeness she has on store for us and unlike other artists as the years go by her talent grows to higher unbelievable levels. Amy I love you o can't wait for the magic you're going to give us in a couple of months and thank you for updating us fans it means the world to us that you update us and give us teasers!!!! Keep on making the beautiful music!!!!!
