Lamb of God begin work on new album

Virginia metallers Lamb of God have begun work on the follow up to their 2009 effort, Wrath.

"When you're in the middle of it, writing and having to perform it over and over again, you kind of get lost in it," says drummer Chris Adler of the recording process. "But when I get to sit back and we have this hard disc - it's pretty exciting stuff. I'm excited that at our spot in time, and at our age, that we're still doing something that is different and better than anything we've done in the past."

The album will be released early next year.

@The messiah.. "just what the world needs?" lamb of god have been going years and have a massive strong fanbase, you'll find that pretty much no band smile in photos.. They're not depressing at all, their music is just pure metal, and it's awesome.

Seen these live twice, at download last year and in a tiny club in Sheffield in 2007 with chimaira and were amazing both times.
