this will be insane! the MH crowd will be out to cause pain :) but MH fan's have a little (just a little) respect for BMTH and there fans. As they will be paying there hard earned money just to see BMTH.

Nope no respect acctually. Everyones talking about bottling BMTH. Which i personally think they deserve :)

Hm I dunno, Not a fan of BMTH. But in my opioin it isnt really fair to people who have travelled/paided there money just to see them, then to be disapointed because most of the "metal heads" are so "metulz" not to go and get a beer while there on and let the BMTH crowd enjoy themselfs.. isnt much to ask is it? I fucking love Machine Head, but BMTH must be on this tour for a reason... just saying!

two fucking awesome bands, give them both respect, if you dont like them then thats fine but bottling them is fucking stupid, they are doing what they wanna do and some people enjoy it, show them some respect

Some people just hate BMTH because its the "cool" thing to do. They are actually a very good live band. They deserve to be where they are now.

Lets not forget DevilDriver they will be awesome as well if past shows are anything to go by.
Also all drinks are dispensed into plastic cups so no bottling, not that there should be anyway, if you don't like BMTH go and have a drink at the bar or chat with mates and then come back in for MH, personally I'm looking forward to seeing all 4 bands :)

People who stand there throwing things at BMTH are pathetic fair enough if they play badly on a headline gig but they are support for gods sake(BFMV),get a pint or something

Absolutely great lineup..... BUT NO FUCKING IRISH DATE!!!!! >.< AGGGGGGHHHH!

Posted by Connor | June 22, 2011 6:20 PM | Reply to this

The reason for BMTH being on the bill is clear, to sell tickets. Machine Head are a monstrous, hard working metal band but doubt could fill an arena. Me thinks bigger tour, multiple nights at O2 Academy sized gigs was more their style.

im 52 years old love macine head

Why shouldnt they play arenas? It's called "career progression"

If I had to see them at Brixton or Brum Academy again I'd go mad!

See where you're coming from Steve but not sure the 'Head are or ever will be at that point. Not here to knock them just nothing worse than not filling one of the sheds, but hey, good luck to them.

i'm a huge fan of both bands, can't wait for this. however all this talk about bottling bmth is a bit far considering machine head have chosen them to support, they must have their reasons. i know a lot of people don't like them but if you like machine head then respect their decision and don't ruin anyone else's night
