Megadeth "worked our butts off" on new album TH1RT3EN

Megadeth have revealed that they will release their new album TH1RT3EN later this year.

The title of the record refers to the the effort being the 13th studio album from the legendary metallers and vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine's birthday being September 13.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Dave revealed that the band: "worked our butts off" to get the album finished within their two month timeframe.

"I had some seriously long days," says the vocalist. "There were some days that I woke up at my computer, with an imprint on my face from sleeping on the keyboard!"

The frontman goes on to reveal that new track titles on TH1RT3EN include Sudden Death and Never Dead, and that he believes the record will be released in November.
