Staind are offering fans the chance to play on their upcoming new single.
The band have launched the search for a solo project through the Indaba website.
Fans are being asked to contribute solos for consideration for the band's track Not Again, the first to be revealed from their upcoming self-titled new album.
The window for submissions closes on August 10.
Blabbermouth are reporting that a "version of Not Again with the winning guitarist's solo on it will appear as a bonus track on the album at iTunes. The winner will also receive a $1000 gift certificate to Guitar Center, a Mike Mushok signature model PRS guitar and a signed copy of the new album. 10 runners-up will get a signed copy of the CD."
