Red Hot Chili Peppers reveal I'm With You artwork

Red Hot Chili Peppers have revealed the artwork for their forthcoming new album I'm With You.

The bold design was created by famed Brit artist Damien Hirst, and can be seen below.

In a statement in an official newsletter, the band announced: "Check out our new album cover - officially revealed! Damien Hirst did it for us and we're happy to get this out to ya!"

I'm With You will be released on August 29 in the UK through Warner Bros. Records.

The band previously revealed the track-listing for the new effort, which was recorded at East West in Los Angeles and Shangri-La in Malibu with producer Rick Rubin (Metallica, Beastie Boys).
