Sonisphere Festival 2011 has only just finished, but the organisers have already confirmed dates for next year's metal adventure.
Sonisphere Festival 2012 will take place between July 6 and 8 next year and 'Early Bird' tickets go on sale this Wednesdsay (July 13) at 9am from www.sonispherefestivals.com at the same price as this year's event.
Those people who manage to snap up 'Early Bird' tickets will also receive an exclusive Sonisphere T-shirt.
Speaking about this past weekend's event, Sonisphere CEO Stuart Galbraith said: "I've been promoting rock festivals for 30 years and I can honestly say that this bill is one that I am most proud of. To say we're happy is an understatement and we never dreamed we could come this far in just three years."
Meanwhile, comedian Bill Bailey (who performed on the Saturn Stage on Sunday) said: "It was EPIC! Biffy rocked mightily, Mastodon a towering vortex of sound, Slipknot a colossal tornado of mask-based metalising and for me, the sight of many thousand metal fans dancing to my Rammstein re-invention of Scarborough Fair will stay with me for ever. Can't wait for Sonis 2012 End Of the World!"
