Marilyn Manson and Shia LeBeouf team up on new video
Marilyn Manson has joined forces with Shia LeBeouf on a brand new video.
The Transformers actor has turned director for Manson's new single Born Villain, creating a six-minute theatrial movie.
Speaking to MTV News, Shia explained: "Marilyn Manson to me is an indelible figure. He's a big deal to me, and in my childhood, I don't know of a scarier figure in art. He, in my teenage years, was the scariest thing in the world, so part of me has always been intrigued."
Shia explains that Born Villain "has all these references to Macbeth and all this Shakespeare and heavy theology, so we tried to make Manson's Un Chien Andalou macabre Macbeth - that's sort of what that [video] became."
"I love Marilyn," he adds. "Manson is like a brother to me now. He's a real sweet dude, a real close friend."

...What an unlikely pair. Even Stevens to Marilyn Manson, whoda thunk it?

This was fantastic. Can't wait till the album drops. That song, however, is not the single. It was just included in the short film. You reporters need to do a better job. Lazy journalism on your part. Reporting what everyone else is reporting. The Film is an entirely different project than the new Manson record. Yes, it includes PART of a song from the new record in the film but they're entirely different things. This, as of now, is not the new single. Nor is it the music video of the song it plays.

I watched the video this morning on youtube. I love how Shia and Manson succeded in making a very dark and creative video. It is very surreal, which I like a lot. The new track sounds great as well. Can't wait for the new album.
