I'll start off by saying that I don't like BMTH, however the actions of a few people at their Salt Lake City show are deplorable. The fact people went to that gig just to cause trouble is ridiculous. I really cannot stand people who do that, because it ruins the experience, both for the band and the fans. There are people who will have been stopped going just because people wanted to cause trouble. Oli's reaction may of provoked the situation somewhat, but at the end of the day I'd agree with him telling them to leave the gig. I play in a band myself and if anyone ever tried to cause trouble at one of my gigs I would stop playing and not start again till they'd be ejected from the venue because I wouldn't want my fans night to be ruined. And the fact they then want on to try and attack them was even worse, because there was absolutely no need for that, or justification.

I have never been a massive fan of BMTH and I partically think they have much tallen but after there performance at Reading I can see that they make a good show but being complete "animals" it just goes to show that some things can get out of hand.

But if you pay to go to their gig your paying to go support the music not to take the first chance you get to beat them up. They've worked to get where they are today and that should be respected whether you like them or not. Oli had every right to say what he did, after all it was his gig, his way of making a living. I bet none of you would like it if they came into your work place a started throwing stuff at you and they tried to punch you.

Last Night in Salt Lake City

Just to clear any rumours… Nothing happened last night apart from a bunch of soft lads stomped on a lil kids head 5 seconds into our set, so we stopped playing, had a bit of a banter with em telling em to do one, then some fatty gets on stage tries to hit me, in which he completely fails, misses and falls over, and then gets sparked out by someone In our touring party. The “crew” then responded by running around the venue, breaking a very young girls jaw and stamping on her, and injuring a few more of our young fans. Proper hard init.

Not a member in Bmth or any of our touring party got so much as a scratch, oh one did want me to know he fucked my wife though, which hit me hard as you know I’ve been happily married for a long time now :)

This is why idiots shouldn't get on the internet. Everyone who doesn't like the band is saying that he got what he deserves, they aren't looking at the actual point.. a band got assaulted whilst playing music! Do you ignoramuses condemn this or something? Also, you don't know the full story to pass judgement, not to mention the security was fucking appalling!
From what i can gather this happens;
1) Oli stops mid-set as a fight breaks out, front row and bottles are hurled around the crowd where one hits a young girl.
2) Oli tells them to "get the fuck out" where the attackers then tell Oli his band and he suck and try pulling him into the crowd.
3) Oli lifts the band's water and throws it over the guys doing it asking them "how they like it".
4) After receiving more abuse, he bad mouths them over the mouth stating "if you don't like our band, fuck off".
5) He walks toward the mic stand as an attacker jumps on stage and swings for him. Oli ducks the attack, as security rush on to stop anything else.
6) After 45 minutes, the band re-appear and finish there set.

lol i think that alot of the people there may have been there for parkway drive i know i wold have. i used to like BMTH alot more than i do now it's just the fangirls ruin it for me they just go nuts for these dudes seemingly over there apearance not there actual music and really there a alright band but theres tones of better bands out there e.g parkway lol they are worlds better in my opinion
