Mastodon to perform on Later... With Jools Holland

Mastodon have revealed that they will be making a live appearance on the acclaimed UK TV show Later... With Jools Holland.

The band - one of very few metal bands to have ever appeared on the show - will be playing live on the show on BBC2 on Tuesday October 18 at 10pm.

The show will then be repeated on Friday night (October 21) with a further repeat on Saturday night (October 22).

The Jools Holland website states: "On Tuesdays, the show is broadcast live for half an hour; Friday night's extended version offers another chance to see performances from Tuesday's show, along with an additional half hour of music and chat."

We can't wait to see this performance!

thing is jools holland will actually enjoy these guys being on the show so im just waiting for the people who watch the show to bash it!

Being on Jools Holland got Seasick Steve in the public eye in a positive light. Let's hope the same can happen with Mastodon.

Sick, I don't think i've seen a metal band on Jools Holland since Metallica in 2009.
