i love how Chloe Timidette says its for for 12 year olds? would they really let a 12 year old listen to bring me the horizon or MCR i love both bands and i'm only 14 but all the same really?

@abby - i didn't know people older than 12 listened to those bands - my mistake I guess.

Kerrang - Was hoping for some metal for christmas, sadly this issue is like getting a lump of coal instead - 30stm on the cover? I'd be ashamed to buy it.

it should be Machine Head and Mastodon wrapping paper. i would buy 100 issues to get a ten-year supply of wrapping paper with The Hunter artwork if it was that. elsewhere, the prescence of Alter Bridge is brilliant as usual, and im eager to read the MIW bit. its nice to see an issue without posters of mcr, all time low, you me at six, or bmth. terrible choice of cover though. every time i see jared letos face it makes me want to shred the entire issue and kill bunnies. put Myles Kennedy on the cover, then i would frame the issue, mount it on a plinth in my bedroom, and pray to it every morning and evening. also, i cant be the only person who wants to punch jared leto in the face every time i see him? anyway, to sum up, a good issue apart from the cover

@ Andymark The bands in this issue are not bands designed for 12 year olds, and so fucking what if 12 year olds like rock bands anyway good on them for not liking that Justin Beiber shite instead. And seriously your arse does not deserve to be wiped with the Paramore and MCR amazing wrapping paper.

I picked this up today.. The only good thing about K! is that you can read the whole fucking thing in the shop. I could hear Jared Leto's huge ego calling out to me. Flicked through it for a second .. felt sick with the amount of "scene". Usually the issue before is xmas is quality. Not this one. Nice one K! selling out for 12 year olds.

SO WHAT IF 12 YEAR OLDS LIKE ROCK BANDS? WHY WOULD YOU HAVE SUCH A PROBLEM WITH THAT? IF YOU METAL HEADS EVER HAD KIDS WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO RAISE THEM ON ROCK MUSIC?? Honestly some people are so judgemental. Besides, I'm 15 and I listen to everything from MCR to Slipknot to Metallica. Rock music would die if they didn't appeal to the younger generation, and there are people on the other side of the world that would walk a thousand miles just to buy this issue. SO HAVE SOME GOD-DAMN RESPECT ON ALL THE STAFF OF KERRANG! WHO WORKED THEIR BLOODY ARSES OFF IN THIS ISSUE. Thank you.

What's wrong with being 12? I'm 12!!! I can listen to MCR (they're my fave band, actually), BMTH, BVB, Green Day, ADTR, well, let's just say I can listen to anything I want. As long as Mum doesn't find out, she still thinks I'm 5, or something.

BTW, I love this issue ^.^ My sister says I can have the Slipknot poster :D

Reading the comments on this pissed me off. Why is it so wrong for the younger people to listen to this sort of music?
I'm 14 now, and been getting K! since I was 12.
Yes, I love My Chem, 30stm, A7x, but I still like loads of metal and classic bands.
Why can't people just accept that as time goes on the music will change?
Everybody likes what they do, and to be frank, if you don't like K! then would you kindly get the fuck off the website.
