If Metallica and Justin Gayber unite, the end of the world might as well be today... STOP WITH THE MCR!! THEY ARE APPALLING LIVE! And Well Done, you have gone an issue without mentioning Black Veil Brides :L

Brilliant issue, can't wait to buy it!

Oh, and 'the MESSIAH' why do you hate K! so much? Just wondering sice you're always spewing hate on this webiste every fucking week?

I suppose you're right, oh wise Duck.

I'd take it back Sarah, but nobody cares.

Nice to see some Black Sabbath in here for once, but would be even better if you scrapped all the MCR bullshit..

Posted by Paige | May 29, 2012 7:10 PM | Reply to this

Black Sabbath are ace and im really excited about this issue but stop giving Kerrang hate for MCR and BVB they both rock. They are both amazing role models and awsome live. You can't expect them to keep doing issues about bands that were amazing a while ago it wouldn't work.

Posted by Lucy D | May 29, 2012 7:39 PM | Reply to this

How can your interview with Black Sabbath possibly be a World Exclusive when they're on the front cover of Metal Hammer too?

If you don't like MCR don't buy it. Fucks sake.

Posted by greta | May 29, 2012 8:53 PM | Reply to this

I wouldn't mind if MCR were mentioned in it every once in a while, but they're pretty much in it every week. A little while back, Kerrang! did a whole poster special with something like 25 posters of MCR so why do they make shitloads more in this magazine? It's not entirely fair that the same bands get mentioned over and over again, and that goes for several bands. I don't publish magazines so maybe they do it to give the fans something to read and use up space, but I don't know. It would be nice to see lesser-known bands appear so they can get recognition.

Saying stuff along the lines of "Don't like the band, then don't buy the magazine" is a reasonable statement, but it's a bit hard to avoid it when I enjoy reading the magazine and the same bands are in it every week.

It would just be nice to see a bit of variety in it. I'm not trying to pick up an argument, but it's just my opinion - everyone has one.

Posted by Mark | May 29, 2012 9:07 PM | Reply to this

Yet ANOTHER fucking poster of You Me At Fucking Six ... I am sick of seeing Josh Fran-twats face in Kerrang EVERY fucking week!!!

And Metallica would murder that Bieber cunt!

Posted by stu | May 30, 2012 2:26 PM | Reply to this

-sigh- I'm done with Kerrang, The glory days are long gone. I just find myself flicking through 90% of the articles because they're written poorly & incredibly biased, only giving good reviews to bands whose record companies have paid K! off to do so or feature in the magazine heavily. The amount of coverage given to You Me At Six & Black Veil Brides borders on insanity, yet the younger female demographic continue to demand more, it sells more issues so Kerrang will continue to feature them even if it means burning their integrity to the ground. Half the articles aren't even interviews with bands but are hastily complied lists of "the top 100", "the A-Z of" and to take two examples from this week's issue the pointless 80's nostalgia and the greatest album covers of all time (I have to add that the album covers were all poor choices).

K! Seems more & more like a gossip magazine rather than music journalism with each issue, instead of freeing space for interviews there are Grohl cats & pointless stories about Hayley Williams getting a haircut. The level of professionalism on display is appalling.

K! Has so many problems it goes beyond whoring generic pop-punk bands, the whole magazine hAs become a watered down piece of throwaway trash much like the Sun Newspaper. Highly irrelevant, misguided & poorly written.

Posted by Pacman | May 30, 2012 5:35 PM | Reply to this

shit. 3rd week running not buying kerrang. rocksound is 10 times better, such a varied, interesting, unique magazine - quality.
all i see is mcr, youme@6, bvb and paramore - its lame, leave it out.

Posted by -sigh- | May 30, 2012 6:04 PM | Reply to this

your review of the rasmus was nothing short of disgraceful. The rasmus were the headline band yet you focused more on the support band mallory know who were kindly given the opportunity by the rasmus to support them! They didnt have to do that as they have enough material to play for three or four hours. Its not cool anymore to slag the band off! Theyve sold enough records etc so give them a break for once! Get your heads out the sand and sort it out. The band sold out the venue within a couple of weeks without any promo from you or a record label so clearly the band are doing something right!

I'm honestly only buying this MCR BVB Ym@6 [terrible music choices...] piece of shit for the Avenged posters. I could care less for the hate comments, but I like a7x so... But anywhore. You know you're washed out when your gossiping about PARAMORE and fucking JUSTIN BEIBER. like seriously? That's just low. Might as well start congratulating Nicki Minaj on her new set of wigs and One Direction on their fan-girls pedicures.

Other than that Some Black Sabbath. Awesome

Posted by SynchronicSelf | May 31, 2012 1:17 AM | Reply to this

I'm really annoyed with the fact that Kerrang! keep going on about MCR. They're okay, but come on, theres been a poster of them in like every issue! I agree with Synchronic, I'm only buying this for the A7x posters. K! isn't rock if it's mentioning Justin Bieber. And even more about

Posted by fleshisburning | May 31, 2012 10:20 PM | Reply to this

I agree with Synchronic. I'm only buying this issue for the A7x posters. I think MCR are okay, but K! keep going on about them, and YM@6. And why is JustinBieber in Kerrang?!

Posted by iveneverfeltsoalive | May 31, 2012 10:22 PM | Reply to this

Why is Justin Bieber in K!? And I'm only going to buy this issue - that is, if i actually do buy it - for the A7x posters as well. MCR are in K! way too much. They're a good band, but this is too much, like they're talking way too much about You Me At Six as well. What's wrong with Kerrang!?

Posted by Cause In A World Gone Mad | May 31, 2012 10:24 PM | Reply to this

Why is Justin Bieber in K? Seriously?!
I'm not buying this issue. There's just too much rubbish, I'm sorry K!, but loads of YM@6 and MCR is getting really boring now. What's wrong with K!?!

Posted by ineedauniqueusername | May 31, 2012 10:27 PM | Reply to this

i think an avenged sevenfold poster special should be made, just like the blink-182 one... A7x for FTW

OMG gaint MCR poster!!! when i get the mag this weekend i'm gonna stick it on my ceiling and know that gerald watches over me when i sleep. and when i wake up knowing every day is a depressive struggle, i'll be able to get through it knowing gerald will be there to greet me every night. <3 xxxxxxxxx <3 <3 <3

You know what, I typed out a really long message but re-read Pacman's comment and just want to say I agree with everything he/she said.

I bought K! weekly for the better part of 8 or so years but now I'm only buying it if something actually interests me (I also bought this issue for the A7X posters - credit where credit's due, I congratulate you, Kerrang! because I don't think I've ever seen solo shots of the other members besides Matt and, more recently, Jimmy). There's very little that does interest me these days and I'm often disappointed by the standard of the journalism and the gossipy nature of it all. I stopped buying teen magazines because I hated how gossip driven they were and that's when I started buying K!... Looks like it's gone full circle.

Posted by moth | June 1, 2012 10:16 PM | Reply to this

Does anyone know if they sell K! in stores in France? I really wanna get this issue cause of Young Guns... they're just awesome!

@princesssugarplum, his name is Gerard, not Gerald.
I love MCR, and personally don't think that there could me much better than a massive poster of GW himself. However, I do think that they are getting featured much more than bands that are just as good. Though, you have to think about the audience that K! is aimed at. As the music changes, and bands such as BVB, MCR and P@TD get more popular, they will be featured more. This is the way of journalism.
(Though, if we're talking about bands we want to see more of, I wouldn't mind more Bowling For Soup, and Green Day, and P!@TD)

Hey guys, why do you have to pick on MCR, YM@6, BVB and Paramore? They are legends and what right
do we have to complain about K always putting them in the magazines? So what! It isn't our choice. I love the four bands and always will. If you have nothing nice to say then don't comment! Fucking hell, it's getting annoying. :L
