Slipknot have announced plans for the first ever Knotfest.
The event - which will call at two US cities across August 17 and 18 - will see the band headline a bill that boasts the likes of Deftones, Lamb Of God, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Gojira, among others. The event will also see a whole host of entertainment, including a Slipknot museum!

UK fans shouldn't be too disappointed by the news, either - as Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor tweeted shortly after the announcement: "Don't worry, UK: this won't be the last Knotfest...". Watch this space!
As previously reported, Slipknot will release a greatest hits compilation, Antennas To Hell, in July.
