Hmm, it's good & catchy but seems kind of simple & safe for such a big band. Probably could have experimented a lot more. It sounds like any other band could have written it.

Green Day rarley change there sound. There getting boring now. Maybe if they'd added someelectronic or orchestral sounds and a different melody, it would be alot better. You should only give this song one K and thats being generous.

I like it, I hope there is some 39/Smooth, Kerplunk and Dookie sounding tracks on the album. I do agree with Kamiah it is a safe release. This is probably to appease the newer fans more so than the older fans from the beginning. I will wait and see what the full offering brings to the table.

And you people think this magazine hosts punk rock music? Are you fucking crazy? Why would you even suggest something to a three chord band?

I think it's great, green day will always be green day, no matter what they sound like, they did a brilliant job, really excited for the releases :D I dont see why people say "its a let down" if this is the music they are playing, it's still fantastic, forever a green day fan!

So close to The Who!... The day Green Day add some synth to their music, the circle will be completed.

I like this song. It's got he dirty rock n' roll feeling to it, got great vocals and is quite catchy. But I also think that the song not good enough for a lead single. But it's definitely better than 'Know Your Enemy'.

Ok I am a long time Green Day fan. Have been for about as long as I can remember and I have to say that this new single is the total shiznit! In English I mean that it is totally and utterly f***ing brilliant!!! I can't wait to hear what the three albums all sound like. If this is anything to go by they will be amazing!

I've been a Green Day fan for years now and I have to say that this song is a better lead single than "Know Your Enemy" but to me it has a similar problem: It's pretty repetitive and a bit too long for the type of song it is. Kick the tempo up a few BPMs and punch the beat a bit, cut out a little of the fluff, and you'd have a spectacular 3-and-a-half minute pop-punk song. After hearing "Know Your Enemy" I was worried that 21st Century Breakdown would be more of that but it turned out to be a solid album. I'm hoping this is the same case here. I'd give this song a 3/5 and can't wait to hear "Kill the DJ" from the trailer to iUno! Bring it on!
