Iron Maiden's Steve Harris has announced details of his first ever solo record.

The iconic bassist will release British Lion on September 24, and is promising fans a surprise or two. An Iron Maiden album this certainly is not...

I will be interested to hear this but I would have liked some more information about the project. Who will be the other musicians? Who will be doing vocals or will there be many guest vocalist? Will Steve be playing anything else other than bass?

Hi There! I co-wrote some songs and played drums on the fourth coming Steve harris solo album `British Lion` to be released on the 24th September on EMI Records.
