Okay this could go down in history as the worst issue of Kerrang ever and thats saying something after the last 12 months of god awful issue after god awful issue. I know its cliched to say Kerrang has gone shit but fuck me it really is true.

Would everyone just stfu about how 'shit' you think kerrang has gone. Stop coming here to check what will be in the issue if you dont the magazine all together. Keep in mind that different people have different likes and dislikes, Kerrang can't cover every single one of them. For example, Biffy Clyro have very different music to Falling in Reverse, who are different to Paramore, yet all three are featured this week, showing that they are still trying to reach everyones interest. So get over yourselves and accept that maybe some who likes You Me At Six might not like what you like and call that 'shit'. An opinion is an opinion.
Rant over ;)

I really thought Kerrang was shaping up with the recent Greenday and Slipknot issues but clearly not. I think this is the last straw for me, I'm sick of just seeing the same bands in every issue week after week. You me at six are so prominent in the magazine that there is a weekly feature, the "Josh-O'-Meter" that is dedicated to what Josh tweets, whether a poster or an article MCR will be in every issue and if you voice a complaint the MCR fan girl legions will descend from the hills to defend their beloved killjoy heroes to the death.

Kerrang has fallen so badly in everyone's opinion who matters, it's just a breeding ground for 13 year old girls to drool over hot frontmen and has nothing to do with rock anymore. I'm giving up, never buying a single issue again, not even coming here to read comments anymore because it's just "OMG more posters of MCR, YM@6 XD BVB 4 lyf fuck da h8rs"

I hope in future, when they're sales eventually crash Kerrang will learn that teenage girls will eventually grow up and their music tastes will change, they'll stop buying K! And none of their original, loyal fan base will be left to save them because they've all stopped buying the magazine due to the shit in it every week.

As I said, I'm done with anything to do with Kerrang, Rocksound and metal hammer know how to make a good magazine that's actually about music and not a fucking joke like K!

Hey, I have just started buying kerrang and despite what people say, the magazine is brilliant. I enjoy reading about the more prominant bands featured (MCR!! Paramore! ATL!! Big fan of all three!!) as well as the less known bands (fearless vampire killers ect)

Kerrang! is awesome expecisically when they feature new bands which helps to improve the range of the readers knowledge and likes.
Kerrang! was suggested to me by a friend of mine and i now always get it.
One thing left to say keep up the good work and bring on BVB next week love them!! x

Posted by bubblepoppper | August 1, 2012 11:24 AM | Reply to this

@Cerys, I completely agree. I don't understand why people waste THEIR OWN time, coming on the Kerrang! website, when they 'hate' it as much as they claim to.

And @Wailmer, along with several others.. Why don't you grow up and accept that just because YOU don't like the bands they're covering, doesn't mean it's 'shit'. You're so ignorant - your music taste is not and never will be the same as everyone elses. Fucking grow up and accept it! The people who buy the magazine are not all '13 year old girls' who are illiterate, which is basically what you're tying to make out. I for one, have been buying it for about five years, and I'm not a 13yr old fangirl, and I know that this is the case with many other Kerrang! readers.
Kerrang! can't cover all the bands they used to cover 10/15/20 years ago.. that wouldn't appeal to anyone?! THINGS CHANGE. They write about bands in the music scene at the moment. Bands who will help sell the magazine. And they're obviously not doing too badly.
You guys claiming the magazine is 'shit' are in the minority, and it's their
job to appeal to the majority.
I'll admit, this issue doesn't appeal to me, but they can't feature all my favourite bands every week, and I'm mature enough to understand that.
Why don't you stop being so ignorant, grow up and accept that things change & all the bands you like will never be featured in the same magazine. And your music taste isn't better than everyone else's. Stop wasting your time slating that that you 'hate' and do something productive, or focus on something positive, rather than the negative.

Good job Kerrang. You've already released the exact same Ville poster before.
Haven't you thought about MSI, Maximum the Hormone, Cherri Bomb, Get Scared??
Consider them please because I'm considering to unsubscribe.

Isn't that the very same HIM poster that was used just a few months ago? You could have found a different one! I'm pretty sure there's plenty of pictures of Ville Valo shirtless, and besides, HIM is a band, it's not just Ville.

Posted by Stormie | August 1, 2012 1:04 PM | Reply to this

Good issue! Can you please have a pierce the veil poster in next weeks issue please?:D

Posted by Lizzie | August 1, 2012 3:18 PM | Reply to this

Ville Valo isnt HIM same as Frank isnt MCR or that person idk his name is A7X shut up with that shit they always label the band in the cover and not the band member. Also a poster of The Used or Blink 182 would be nice...

Posted by Ryan | August 1, 2012 3:49 PM | Reply to this

Guys stop complaining, people have different opinions it must be hard to cover all of our interests in one issue, if you don't like it you don't have to sink so low as to call good bands shit just because you don't get your own way, no one is forcing you to buy K! This issue looks pretty good to me and I love MCR, YM@6, FIR and ATL. There are weeks that I don't buy K! because of the bands featured but I dont write a comment complaining that they're shit, I just move on with my life, maybe you people complaining should try it sometime...

Kerrang, please ignore anyone who requests a Blood On The Dance Floor feature. They are one of the poorest excuses for a rock band I have ever had the displeasure of hearing, and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that they do not deserve to be featured within the pages of this or any other rock music magazine.

Before I go on a mega rant, just know that I love MCR, YMAS, Paramore, and most of the bands that appear often in Kerrang, and I mean no disrespect to them by saying this

Kerrang, change the fucking record. MCR/YMAS are in Kerrang WAY too often. We understand that K! is a business, and needs to sell, but I subscribed a few months ago, and I haven't seen one issue without YMAS in. Fair does, they are a good band, but we don't need posters/articles about them non-stop. I think we need either coverage of more new bands, or more diverse bands, like both pop-punk and heavier stuff because once all the YMAS, etc fans have grown up and out of that music, or the bands split, what is K! gonna do? All of the readers now will have abandoned it, and the fan girls will leave because their precious bands have left. Phew. Rant over

Are you serious? ymas isn't in this NEARLY as often as bvb it's turned to black veil brides weekly so don't diss my favourite band because one of your shit bands didn't make it in the mag.

I comment whenever I especially enjoy a post on a blog or I have
something to valuable to contribute to the discussion. It's triggered by the sincerness displayed in the post I browsed. And on this post Kerrang! Kerrang! Magazine 01/08/12. I was moved enough to post a comment :) I do have 2 questions for you if it's okay.
Is it only me or do a few of the responses look as if they are left by brain dead visitors?
:-P And, if you are posting at other social sites, I would like

When an individual decides to make the transition from eating meat to being a true vegan, many of
the usual things they once enjoyed go out the window. If you don_t,
then you will have to bake each loaf separately. The other
example of a place where you can get your own pizza coupons is the pizza hut.
