Biffy Clyro announce new album details

Biffy Clyro have announced that their forthcoming sixth studio album will be titled Opposites.

The band - Simon Neil (vocals/guitar), James Johnston (bass), Ben Johnston (drums) - are currently in a Los Angeles studio with producer GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Kerbdog). The album is expected to be released later this year.

A new single, Stingin' Belle will be released on September 17, but fans can check it out by signing up to their website here.

Biffy Clyro will headline the iTunes festival at London's Roundhouse on September 22. Frightened Rabbits are special guests. Tickets to the event are given away for free through the official iTunes Festival website. Click here for more information on how to get them.

If the album is much like the single I won't bother. It's sad how downhill and mainstream Biffy have become. The majority of their new fans just want to hump Simon Neil, they couldn't care less about their music.

Liking the new single and other new songs from upcoming album that are on youtube but live videos, love all of Biffy Clyro's music, can't wait to pre-order the new album, solid band, amazing live !

I have to say I am not that keen on the song, I remember the good old days of Biffy with a slightly harsher tone to their songs, I agree they have become more mainstream and mellowed out abit too much.

every single time ive heard new biffy stuff ive said... WTF is this sh*te!? EVERY TIME! all the way from when i heard vertigo... and EVERY time ive ended up worshipping it!!!
