The three members of punk band Pussy Riot standing trial in Russia have been found guilty.
The charge relates to a "punk prayer" the band performed at a church in the Russian capital of Moscow this past February. The band were performing in opposition to the Russian Orthodox Church's support for the re-election campaign of current President Vladimir Putin.
Ugly scenes have marred the proceedings today (August 17), as protestors outside the court have been arrested. Protests against the trio's detention have been continuing worldwide.
