Hmmm, looks like a fairly week issue I'm afraid. Apart from a few features, nothing really wants me to buy it which is sad.

Okay 'stu' i respect that you have your own opinion but you don't have to be a dick about it besides if the decent band your referring to is iron maiden their an old band and what people want nowadays is newer up to date bands like you me at six and paramore

Each week I find myself infront of K! at the newsagents, flicking through & just putting it back on the shelf. It's down to the bands that are "in" at the moment I suppose, they just don't appeal to me. Maybe I'm getting older & my tastes are changing but all these modern bands are just repeating the emo craze in the early 2000's. Black veil Brides, Sleeping with sirens, it's just been done before, I hear their music & think "meh". Then, the real innovative bands that deserve space in the magazine get overlooked.

I'm only buying this for the Green Day bit haha

Kerrang! you deleted my comment? Yes, they called Steve Harris a 'she' .. Weak.

Posted by Tuna | September 12, 2012 9:01 PM | Reply to this

@Claire

Yes I am referring to Iron Maiden, yes they're old, but still going and still decent, proper British music, like Sabbath and Motorhead

You Me Eat Shit and Parawhore are in Kerrang every bloody week and is slightly boring now!

There should be more about BVB or maybe even some good posters Asking Alexandria motionless in white etc in stead of iron maiden and paramore nearly all the time.

"in stead of iron maiden and paramore nearly all the time!"

They harldy ever show Maiden in Kerrang anymore so you've got that one wrong

But I do agree about Paramore, in EVERY.BLOODY.MAGAZINE!!

Could you put Ashley Purdy in the tattoo part as he's got the most interesting tatts of BVB and the most?

@Laura: No. Kerrang! only acknowledge vocalists, and even then only if said vocalist is below the age of 25 (only exception being Gerard Way) and considered attractive by a teenybopper.

Really want to get it for the Alexisonfire poster, Can anyone tell me if it's any good?

Posted by Luke | September 14, 2012 9:36 AM | Reply to this

No mention of the 30 Seconds To Mars documentary (just you know the one that they've been filming since they began) Premiering at TIFF?

Oh that's right I forgot, Kerrang only cares about ym@s, paramore and mcr.

What happened to you Kerrang?

Posted by Abigail Amber | September 15, 2012 3:04 PM | Reply to this

Finally Kerrang are actually done the decent thing instead of the same interviews with the same bands. Steve Harris still without doubt the greatest bassist and song writer around

Posted by Peter Shortland | September 16, 2012 4:35 AM | Reply to this

@hi they probably mostly acknowledge vocalists because theyre at the forefront of the band so they think people care more about theyre opinion i dont really think been attractive has anything to do with after all kerrangs about rock music not poppy boybands
