Wow... Really? You me at six, All time low and Asking alexandria posters AGAIN?
Only Kerrang can have 10 posters and have none worth getting -.-
Rest of the issue is pretty average...
Kerrang now reminds me of heat magazine
Sort it out Kerrang!

Wow...Same bands again....At least they haven't shown MCR again (can never catch a break form them, my little sis is a die-hard fangirl).

You Me At Six are the most over-rated and repetitive "band" going!

Posted by stu | October 23, 2012 4:04 PM | Reply to this

@stu you are spot on, Ymas are overrated as fuck
I mean i would kind of understand if their last album was Amazing, but it wasn't. IT WAS SHIT
Fuck sake Kerrang, you know there are Other bands apart from Ymas right?
They wouldn't be on the cover every week if they looked like bowling for soup would they?
Change the fucking record Kerrang

-.- iv'e lost all hope for you kerrang
i'm gonna stick with rock sound and metal hammer now
They now how to make a proper magazine without turning into a gossip mag
and you just know Josh's face will somehow make it into the next week's issue aswell
Wake up Kerrang, Ymas are average at best and are mostly liked by little tween girls because they think josh is hot
Try featuring some different/BETTER bands next time
Oh btw 10 posters and only 1 decent one?? DISGRACEFUL

You Me At Six are an incredible band actually, and not just for their faces. They produce quality music, and even if the last album wasn't as good as TOYC, doesnt mean you can slag them off, just because they are more successful than you. Grow up.

@Jess

If they're incredible then how come all their fans are tweenage girls?

"It doesn't mean you can slag them off"

But we did.

if you don't like you me at six or any of the other bands in kerrang then don't fucking buy it, no ones forcing you to go and buy it.

I'm 20 and I ymas are my favourite band so please stop generalising.

I agree that K! does go a bit over the top in their promotion of them in that they don't have to feature every week! But that doesn't mean you should start slating a band that have worked their fucking asses off to get to where they are now.

@Sarah the reason i'm complaining about kerrang is because it had been my favorite magazine and i loved almost every issue since 2008
But i don't think there has been that many issues i genuinely enjoyed this year.
Face it, in 2012 Kerrang has lost what made it a great magazine in the first place
And i do buy it every week because i just hope they have a quite good feature in it. and i really think K! can make decent issues again, just ditch you me at six, bvb and paramore.
Please sort it out kerrang!

Posted by Mark | October 24, 2012 12:58 PM | Reply to this

@Jess wow you're an idiot.
How does you me at six being more successful have anything to do with us not liking them? Anthrax are more successful then me, but do i hate them? NO. all bands are more successful then me, so by your logic i must hate them all?
Next time you defend Josh&and his backing band make sure you don't have a completely retarded argument -.-
Jess, you're a moron.

Posted by Nuclear dave | October 24, 2012 1:13 PM | Reply to this

Same old then, BMTH cover story isn't too bad but nothing above really makes me want to buy the issue.

It's exactly the same problem that has been dogging every issue since it started happening, the same bands circulating in every mag.

I'm not going to go off on a rant about certain bands, I dislike BVB, YM@6 & the rest of them but simply because their music doesn't appeal to me. The problem is that K! just won't feature anything other than them, it is really annoying.

As a once regular reader, buying an issue every week this really is disheartening as I only buy the odd issue here & there now. I think the last one I bought was the Steve Harris one.

Posted by diglett | October 24, 2012 1:52 PM | Reply to this

Look on the bright side: MCR aren't in this issue, which is very good for a change since Kerrang has revolved the whole mag around them since The Black Parade (2006).

I remember when Nirvana and Maiden were on Kerrang, those are good bands unlike those tweenage girl bands like BVB, MCR, YM@S and the rest of em.

Their last good issue was when Steve Harris was on the cover a few weeks ago but even then there wasn't much news.

Now it's all 'The pictures that they didn't want you to see (yet they posed for the camera)'.

Panic! At The Disco were widely popular in Kerrang years ago but now their careers are almost dead, when was the last time K! mention a huge article about them?

MCR sell an anti-suicide message, since The Black Parade (2006) was released they were populr as fuck but now in 2012 they're still popular but not as popular as 06. So the music industry has created more bands who sell the anti-suicide message for money (BVB, BMTH etc) because they know that emotionally vunerable tween girls will fall into their money-making trap. When BVB/BMTH have died the music industry will make another band who sells the anti-suicide message.

These bands don't give a shit about little girls tiny, pathetic 'problems', just money.

Kerrang have always posted different bands. i'm not a fan of YMA6 or any new bands really but, they try to make the magazine to everyones taste and not just any of yours, i admit that not every issue is the best but every week i always feel the same excitment as i did when i brought my first issue! i think kerrang are amazing for fitting the magazine around everyones taste and not every issue is gonna have acceptable bands in them but i respect Kerrang! for the job they do. keep rocking K!

Posted by Mary | October 24, 2012 3:57 PM | Reply to this

(sorry 4my fucked english and long speech)

I agree with Dan, LOVE MCR but since their leaving this 'suicide' thing, a lot of bands approaching the theme began to emerge in the media. All of this became something cliché, like... we see Disney artists singing about it, and his fans liked to say that they "stay strong" cos of their idols. I think it's (super) ok that ppl were able to overcome their problems through the power of music, and I dont reduce the importance that these bands have in their lives, but it seems that nowadays the only focus of the bands is being leaders of an army of kidz, and not for the music.

I mean, LostAlone is my favorite band, their music comforted my heart in very difficult moments, but I never felt a victim of anything, not because "their music said that we arent victims," their music made me think about certain situations and made me get conclusions of my problems. Isnt like 'lostalone save my life,' is like 'lostalone made me understand life' yknow.

That's why I think they're so honest and deserved more appearances on k! (until they do a lot of success, and other bands start making the same speech, but in a dishonest way :P)

And I understand the complaint of some, about the same bands in each issue etc. It's very easy to say "dont like the band? Didnt buy" for anyone who collects Kerrang for years. But understand that, even though the k! want to maintain the rock-quality that it had for years, its also something to be >sold<. These bands you hate hs 564651465765 fans. I think that all of this effort that you make in cursing the k! editors on twitter should be used to bring together fans of the bands that you like, and show to k! that your fav band has a 564651465765 fans too, to buy their magazine, dude.

@Dan I have to agree with you there, they're friends with me and I grew up with Ray but I was greatly saddened because I knew that the band didn't care for the fans and sold out by The Black Parade.

Having gone to both gigs with an open mind I can honestly say that it's Slash who deserved the KKKKK rating and Young Guns the KKK rating. Kerrang haven't got the guts to say how it is in fear of losing teen fans. I do like Young Guns but they aren't in the same league as Slash / Miles Kennedy and in fairness to them, they'd probably say the same.

LOL nice one. I bet you're like 30, calling a 16 year old a moron. Have a nice life mate.

I'm a recent buyer of Kerrang so I wouldn't know how good Kerrang used to be, this issue was literally the first mag I brought, I mean, I've loved the channel for ages but never knew they had a magazine until now. But I never bought it because of who was on the front cover (I'd never even listened to BMTH) I bought it because of the channel. I liked some bands on there but half of them weren't even in the bloody magazine!! I don't even know why I still buy it to be honest. I mean, all the bands I like to listen to are featured in previous issues... back in 2007!!! 5 years ago! Remember when bands like Gaslight Anthem, Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation made the front cover? Seriously, if the next few issues don't pack it in with all this ATL, YMAS, BVB stuff then I may just leave. Okay, I appreciate ATL, YMAS and BVB have fans so maybe not ALL of that stuff but don't feature them on the front every week/every other week!
