Stone Sour used yesterday's (December 10) London Brixton Academy show to confirm themselves on the Download 2013 lineup.
Corey Taylor announced the news from the stage during the band's headline show, with Download booker Andy Copping confirming the plan through his Twitter account.
Stone Sour will play on the main stage on the festival's closing Sunday, which is headlined by Rammstein. Iron Maiden headline the Saturday night, while Slipknot's Friday night headline performance means it'll be a busy weekend for Taylor.
