Machine Head and Adam Duce split

Machine Head have announced that bassist Adam Duce has left the band.

A statement on the band's official website read: "Machine Head and bassist Adam Duce have parted ways. The split is amicable, and Machine Head would like to wish Adam the best with his current and future endeavors. The band will continue on for the time being as a three-piece and have begun the writing process for their follow-up to 2011's Unto The Locust. A late 2013 release is projected."

Duce had been with the band since their formation in 1991.

Kerrang! would like to wish Adam all the best for the future.

I hope Machine Head continue to make awesome music and it is a shame that Duce has moved on.

I vaguely remember reading about the arguments, so its not too much of a shock that it's happened.
