Motorhead have cancelled the Austrian and Milan dates of their European tour due to issues with Lemmy's health. Metal Insider has reported that the legendary frontman has suffered "unspecified hematoma that are causing blood clots and could be anywhere in the body". The band have cancelled the two shows to allow Lemmy time for recovery, and their 21st studio album, Aftershock, is still pencilled for release in September and the band are due to tour the US later this year. The Italian promoter posted the following translated statement with regards to cancelling Motorhead's Milan show:
"With great regret we inform you that, after you have cancelled a date in Austria yesterday, motorhead are also forced to cancel the date of June 25 in Milan, for the same reason, ie health problems lemmy, caused by a strong hematoma makes it impossible at present to go on stage."
