Nirvana! Green Day! Metallica! - Rock's Greatest Lyrics

So much more than just words, lyrics are at the heart of music. They provide a glimpse into the mind of a rockstar and invite you in to bond with them. We look at the best of the best, including the likes of Kurt Cobain, James Hetfield, Billie Joe Armstrong, Corey Taylor and Jello Biafra, whilst Andy Biersack, Gus Wood and more tell us their favourite lyricists, favourite lyrics and what they mean to them. Who knows, you might even feel inspired to write your own!

This week we've got a Paramore poster special! That means SIX awesome snaps of Hayley Williams and the boys to plaster your walls with. Better start making room now!

Feedback: You respond to Kerrang!'s run-in with the Westborough Baptist Church last week, send in your letters and drawings and go head to head with HIM's Ville Valo over whether Black Sabbath are the same beast that they once were. Oh yeah and you can win a signed 30 Seconds To Mars album and t-shirt!

We look to the future with Deaf Havana's James Veck-Gilodi as he takes us inside their new album and talks touring the UK and hanging out with Bruce Springsteen. We also mourn the loss of a great talent and good friend, Kerrang!'s own renowned rock photographer Ashley Maile and bring you the touching reactions from around the rock world from the likes of Slash, Enter Shikari, 30 Seconds To Mars, Mastodon, Steel Panther, Alter Bridge, Avenged Sevenfold and many more.

What else? Asking Alexandria's Ben Bruce answers your life gripes in Life Of Agony, we give you a handy Slam Dunk festival stage time guide and reveal who's at the top of this week's Kerrang! Official Rock Chart. Bjorn "Speed" Strid of Soilwork tells us about his favourite tattoos and we ponder whether Gerard Way will ever return to music - or if he's destined for a career in comic books, as we take a peak inside his Fabulous Killjoys comic. We also get giddy over Avenged Sevenfold's new album and bring you more... Grohl Cats!

Plus: We party hard with the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, Blitz Kids, Heaven's Basement, Fearless Vampire Killers and Enter Shikari at the Relentless Kerrang! Awards 2013 nominations party and introduce you to French pop-punkers Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!

All Time Low hit the basketball court with us and count the ways that Slam Dunk festival is going to rock this year, with some hot tips on massive not-to-be-missed moments from the likes of Sleeping With Sirens, Tonight Alive, Cancer Bats, Your Demise, Pierce The Veil, Mallory Knox and Kids In Glass Houses. Be excited!

Judas Priest legend Rob Halford gives us the songs that saved his life and tells us about getting singing lessons from Deep Purple.

Airbourne's Joel O'Keeffe goes up against The Ultimate Rockstar Test and talks about having rats in his bed... nice!

Lives: We hit the road to review Sleeping With Sirens and The Word Alive, as well as Jimmy Eat World, We Are The In Crowd, Rolo Tomassi, The Pineapple Thief, Lordi, Deafheaven and Bosnian Rainbows.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is all squeezed into this week's issue of Kerrang!, which is on sale May 22. Boom.
