“antIVist”: Watch Bring Me The Horizon’s gloriously chaotic footage of their recent performance with Sleep Token guitarist IV.
YouTube cover masters Anthony Vincent and Todd Barriage have turned Harry Styles’ As It Was into a Sempiternal-style rager…
Incredible YouTube vocalist Anthony Vincent has shared a new cover of what it would sound like if Bring Me The Horizon performed Harry Styles' recent single As It Was.
With the help of cover artist Todd Barriage (who worked on the production, mix, master and additional vocals), the pair have turned the Harry's House hit into a Sempiternal-style rager, with many viewers noting just how well the whole thing actually works.
Funnily enough, the One Direction superstar was a topic of conversation when we interviewed Oli Sykes earlier in the year about his many interesting and varied collaborations.
“We’d do a song with Harry Styles if it felt right,” the Bring Me frontman said. “It’s just about what we like and what we fuck with and what feels good. There’s no elitism with what we do, there’s no, ‘It has to be cool, it has to appeal to these people.’ Around the time of Sempiternal or [2015’s] That’s The Spirit, if we did a collab with Ed Sheeran people would be like, ‘What the fuck!?’ But now it’s like, ‘Yeah, of course they have!’”
Anyway, until Oli and Harry do link up (we wish), watch As It Was in the style of BMTH below:
