Nick John, Manager Of Mastodon And Gojira, Has Passed Away

Nick sadly lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.

Less than a week after Mastodon members revealed that their longtime manager Nick John was battling pancreatic cancer, Nick has sadly passed away.

The devastating news was confirmed by Mastodon singer/guitarist Brent Hinds, who simply posted "R.I.P. Nick John" with a photo of them on his Instagram account.

Nick also managed Gojira as part of the Rick Sales Entertainment team.

This is an old picture of me and @nickjzoso I love this dude so much ..we had a lot of great times when he would fly out to see us at festivals..we were always trying to talk him in to just riding with us for a week or two on the road with the tour bus and and all the sitting around and everything that goes along with tour so he could get a taste of what it’s like..we never got the chance to see this beautiful man everyday like we see each other on tour ..just ever so often at festivals and namm conventions and award party’s ..so it was only great times and laughs like your seeing here in this photo
